This is a 3D study of a home using hybrid construction systems of a site built lower level and a manufactured main level. The main level is comprised of four sections produced in a factory and placed on top of a site-built walk out basement. Hybrid building reduces construction time as lower and main levels are built simultaneously. Manufactured housing takes advantage of a controlled construction environment and reduces waste. The units are shipped nearly complete and set upon the main level base, creating a streamlined residence in less time than standard site-built construction. As local jurisdictions require recycling of construction waste, manufactured housing offers an attractive alternative to site building.
